My Story

This last year I've become closer than ever to my dad. My dad has always been a strong hard working man so when he was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2017 it was truly awful to watch him suffer. He'd already overcome prostate cancer a few years previous so it was a massive upset to think it'd come back. Over the last year I've tried my best to support him through the major operation he had to undergo and then his chemotherapy. This was when I knew how bad it must be as he was in pain and struggling with the nasty side effects. Because of this unfortunately he couldn't finish the full course. We are now waiting and praying that it was enough to kill the cancer once and for all!
