Lou ask me if I wanted to do this walk and without hesitation I said yes. I wanted to walk along side her and support her. Lous family has been through the hardest two years they’ve ever had to face, but thankfully the story has an amazing ending, the warrior Sophie is, she beat cancer, BUT little did I know just after signing up, my own family would go through the same devastation, we’re only half way though but I know my mum is going to be just fine, I can feel it in my bones. Thanks to cancer research, these two amazing strong women are here and are going to be ok, without this research it could be a different story. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, that could be YOU or ME!!!
