In memory of
Robert the vannnn mannn xx
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. Four years ago, this February, I lost a dear friend to cancer. He was such a strong, caring man and he is missed dearly! When I worked with Robert one day, he made us both a cup of tea and he was complaining of a sore throat and found it hard to gulp. I suggested he went to the doctors to get checked. He did. Had to get the camera down and the hospital found throat cancer. He had a few operations, chemo and he still came into work, still fought until his last breath. Paul and myself visited Robert in hospital a week before Darcy was born, we didn't recognise him... The cancer was taking over his body. He looked soo ill and sore, but still had his funny humour. When Paul and me were leaving theward, I kissed his hand and told him I would see him soon, knowing it would be the last time I saw him. When darcy was born, Paul took darcy up to see Robert and aparently Robert laughed because his cat was called that. A few days after, Robert passed away. He is still sorely missed by family and friends and I will never forget the laughs we had and the lunches he treated Norma and me with at Murphy browns on our lunch break. Miss ya Robert. Doing this for you too!!
