I'm taking part in Race for Life to get fit and raise money for this fantastic cause.

Back in January I signed up for this to spur me to get off the sofa and get fit. I now have trainers, a fit bit and a sports bra that fits. .. . I've lost a few pounds too but I need your pounds to help motivate the actual running part.

I aim to run the distance (which is easier to say than do!) and knowing I've got at least a little bit of sponsorship will help motivate me to move my butt a little faster. . . (though from distant memory my walking pace is actually faster than my running/jogging speed!).

Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
