I have finally managed to brave it and I ran the whole 5km, Race For Life. In memory of my Dad.

My Dad

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

I lost my Dad in 2008 and have thought about taking part in this ever since then. I have been dealing with his loss since then and becoming part of this event is part of that grieving process for me. Please sponsor me a little as this will help and encourage me and support cancer research too. Thank you in advance for everything you all do for me and for anything you can give me also.

Update-: thank you everyone for sponsoring me. I am on the eve of my run and feeling very apprehensive about making it around 5k without walking it. I ran 4K so I am hoping 5 is possible...
-- With my hurty achilles too but I'm determined for all my friends who have faith in me and for our lost loved ones.

UPDATE 2-It's now well on from my race and I forgot to say that I RAN the whole 5km!! I have also finally collected my money.
Total raise is £230. Well over my target so I'm very happy.
Achillies is better so best get back out on the road, ready for the next challenge.... Thanks again EVERYONE ❤️️??
