My mother-in-law! I love her.
Mums from Nazeing School have inspired me with their dedication and love for Jackie throughout her illness and now, after her death, to fund raise as much as they can - true friends are worth their weight in gold. I didn't know Jackie as well as the other mums but their numerous fundraising events and admiration for her have already made me do a 10k, chuck my children under a cloud of colour, drink pints at a fun day (the easiest challenge) and now I'm looking forward to (!) walking 13 (not 26.......) miles with them to raise money for this great charity on Saturday 23rd September on the Shine Walk. I also want to shout out to my friends and family that I know who have been / are battling with cancer. - you know who you are xxxxx
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
