Nicola Walks All Over Cancer
It's a great cause, and has health benefits not just for me but hopefully for 100's in the future.
In the last few years I have had many friends who have been affected by cancer ; but sadly just before Christmas a good friend and work colleague's husband was diagnosed with cancer and apart from providing support in the shape of cups of tea and someone to talk to , there is little else I can do, which is frustrating, so fundraising was a great way to feel that I was helping.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
