Nicola takes on Dryathlon

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon and raising money for Cancer Research UK by ditching the drink for one month, as most people are aware I’m partial to a g&t or a glass of bubbles!! Any donations however big or small can go towards helping this charity and funding the hard work they do. I’ve set myself a target of £100 and will match any donations given. After consuming to much over the festive period I started this a week earlier on Boxing Day!! I’ve set myself this challenge for two important reasons 1) most people at some point in there lives will experience cancer, whether it be a friend, family member or yourself. Cancer research has progressed so much over the years and that wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the research that can be carried out as the money people donate to make this happen. 2) my own personal challenge and setting this goal to raise money Our future isnt guaranteed and we don’t know what’s around the next corner, I decided to do this properly and raise money for charity because anyone can say they are doing dry January, but at the end of this I will fingers crossed be able to donate some money to this fantastic charity. I know this time of year is hard after Christmas but even the smallest donation can make a difference :)
