My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This Summer, I'll be part of the team taking on 72 holes of golf (4 rounds) in one day to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is a subject personal to me as I am directly affected by this. I lost my Nan to cancer, my Aunty to cancer and now My Mum has lung cancer which she has lived with for a few years now. She has always been healthy, non smoker and into fitness but cancer has no rules, which shows it can catch anyone out, knowing how relentless cancer is, it spread to the brain which she is now undertaking second treatment. We have many up's and downs and wish for the miracle that one day we will be able to stop people suffering from cancer. So In aid of this, myself and 3 friends are taking on the cancer research 72 hole golf challenge in one day this august to raise money for cancer research. I appreciate many people probably already contribute to the cause however we ask if you can spare anything to help raise as much money as possible, we would really appreciate it. Your contribution will help the research and help with the pain of not only those who have cancer but also those that live with it and families that deal with it afterwards.
