My Story
Hey, Thank you for checking out my fund raising page. I have decided to bite the bullet and give this challenge for Cancer Research UK a go as we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. I have personally lost family members to this horrible disease and I also have a couple of friends currently under going chemotherapy. So this is decent way of trying to give something back. My aim is to ride 75 miles (but hopefully more) a week throughout the month of September to achieve the target of 300 miles. I think I have bitten off more than I can chew as I only took up cycling during lockdown but I believe what I am trying to do is nothing compared to what any cancer patient throughout the UK is going through so any thing I can do, no matter how small, can only be a good thing. I will give it my best shot and I am looking forward to the challenge. Thanks again for taking the time to read this. I will keep you updated on how many miles I achieve but I will spare you the pictures of my saddle sores!
