My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I decided to run both the Torbay and Cardiff Half Marathons, but wanted to make my training for them meaningful. Cancer is happening right now, to so many people, which is why I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK. I've been affected by cancer personally, losing my nan in 2007, but have also witnessed the successful treatment of other family members since. That's how I know that ongoing vital research is key to keep moving towards beating cancer, and why I'm running for a cure. I would be so grateful if you could donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
