Ciaran
My partner Ciaran was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in early 2019, but unfortunately it had also spread to his bones before he had any symptoms. He was given fabulous treatment to give him time and extend his life and he remained very positive through his treatment; but in his case time was limited. The treatment gave him precious time to make lasting memories with myself and his family and friends and I’m taking part in “WalkAllOverCancer” with the Waverley Walkers in Ciaran’s memory and to make sure research continues so more people survive cancer and get to make their own memories.
