Nichola's Race for Life
Cleethorpes 5k 2019
Sun 19 May 2019 - Sun 19 May 2019
As many of you know, my mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer back in September 2018. However, thanks to our NHS system, the Surgeons, Radiologists and Clinical Nurses at Lincoln County Hospital Breast Unit, her treatment was accelerated, and she was given the 'all clear' on 7th January 2019. My mum is an amazing woman, she faced this awful disease with courage and determination, never letting anything phase her, she's a true inspiration! So, because of this, I've decided to take part in a Race For Life 5k, along with my son Alex. For me, this is huge, as I'm no athlete, but am determined to push myself and do the best I can to raise money and help save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with Cancer in their lifetime, every single pound donated makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. So please sponsor me, and help give the encouragement I need to complete this race! Thank you 😀
