I'm raising money because I want next generations to live in a world where cancer is a curable disease.
My Story
Did you know that cancer survival in the UK has doubled in the last 40 years? That's absolutely great news, showing how much talent, commitment and efforts are being poured into such a critical area for research. Unfortunately though, we are still very off the 100% survival mark. On 8th October I will be running the Oxford Half Marathon and attempting to cross the finishing line in less than 1h50mins. Besides the personal challenge, I thought this was a great opportunity to raise money and awareness for cancer research. If you have a few bucks to spare, please help me to hit my target, and together we can make a tangible contribution to a great cause. As if this wasn't enough to convince you, I pledge to run the race in a black tie outfit if we make it to £600! Let's bring forward the day when all cancers are cured! Thanks, Niccolò

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
