My Story
Cancer is something that affects us all in some way; everyone one of us knows someone who has been diagnosed with it, friend, family or colleague, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and help save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I started jogging for the first time in my life last September so that I could join in the Race for Life 5K this year. My determination to do something that I have never done before, and totally out of my comfort zone, is not only benefiting me by making me fitter and healthier, it is also helping to make a difference to other people's lives, which is something I can be proud of.
