My Story
My wife and trooper Joanne was diagnosed with Primary Oesophageal Cancer with secondary Liver Cancer in Feb 2018 and is under the fantastic care of The Christie hospital in Manchester, she has undergone Chemotherapy trials and has recently finished 2nd line Chemotherapy and is currently stable, a scan in the summer will determine the next steps. Jo's positive attitude throughout and amazing family support have helped get this far. This is Jo's idea to help others by doing the race for life and has roped the family in to complete it alongside her.... hopefully the funds raised will go someway to finding a cure. Thanks in advance for any donations towards this great cause it is very much appreciated Neil, Joanne and family. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
