Daves Gym celebrating 50 years, just giving page in aid of Cancer Research UK

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Daves Gym is celebrating 50 years this year. To mark this achievement we are holding a charity day on Sunday 12th March to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. We would like your support to make this a special day and are asking our members to get sponsorship to perform a challenge in the gym. For example:- Lift the weight of a double decker bus (approx 27888lbs therefore 200lbs 140 times) Cycle up and down Everest 4 times from base camp to summit (one trip is 25 miles therefore 100 miles in total on a spin bike) - take as long as you like! Or design your own challenge, maybe set yourself a target of press ups, chins, curls, squats, deadlifts etc. Or smash your PB on a stairmill, rower or other cardio kit. Be inventive, make it personal, do it alone or with a friend. Bring your friends and family to the gym to support you in your chosen activity and to enjoy an open day where you can show them where you train. There will be a goody bag for everyone taking part with free samples of supplements and refreshments available.
