Nazish's Race for Life

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Cancer is emotionless and can take anyone with surprise. Its effects are life changing and devastating, not just for the patient but their entire family.Not only the disease but its treatment is very painful with long term and sometimes life-long side effects. It is extremely important that more research is done to come up with better treatments which are far more comfortable and with far less side effects. I have lost many loved ones to cancer. The biggest loss I have endured is losing my Mother to Cancer. She was the strongest person with the strongest will to fight this ruthless disease. She was determined not to give up and fought this disease right to the end with great strength, power and determination, After three years of constant fight, my mother lost her battle with cancer. I want to make sure that we do everything and anything, that we can, to help save others in this fight against cancer. We can only make this disease weak through research and development. No one can do this alone and in this fight we will have to stand together.
