I've known so many people to be directly and indirectly affected by Cancer. After over a year of personal health problems I was blue lighted to A&E only to find that I too have developed Bowel Cancer. I've already undergone radiotherapy/chemotherapy and before surgery I want to get myself in the best possible health to make my recovery more manageable. It will have lasting consequences for me as I wasn't diagnosed soon enough, my age a large factor in this, but it is not for me that I am raising money, I will be fine! In September, before my surgery, I will complete 300+ miles on my bike, with lots of padding, for Cancer Research UK. I want to raise money for life-saving research, to avoid the pain that it causes and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page.
