My Story
I'm running this year in memory of my mother in law who was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 just a few months after losing her daughter to Pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Despite having been through such an awful ordeal Sue was a pillar of strength to her whole family and for the next 5 years fought the disease with bravery and dignity. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially watching her grandchildren grow. Losing her last year has left a huge hole but i continue to be in awe of the way the fought her battle and we miss her massively. I'll also be running in honour of my wonderful Gan Gan who, at 92 years old, has beaten breast cancer and continues to fight skin cancer, she is absolutely amazing! I think pretty much everyone i know has been affected by cancer in one way or another, so any donations to this cause will be gratefully received! Thank you :-)
