My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to be doing the 100 Skips a Day in May Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research is a charity that is close to my heart as I have seen a very close family member battle cancer for the last 5 years. Treatment continues to improve and advancements in medicine mean that we are getting closer to wiping cancer out, but more research is needed to help prevent, detect and treat cancer. Cancer Research carry’s out research into more than 200 types of cancer and anything we can do to help support their research and take cancer down is a win in my book. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
