My Story
I am taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht race 2025-26. See intro video 👇 It’s a 40,000 nautical mile race around the world on a 70-foot ocean racing yacht. There will be 11 boats racing each other for 11 months. The route is divided into eight legs and between 13 and 16 individual races including six ocean crossings. I am doing this because I wanted an adventure I would never forget whilst also raising money for a worthy cause. I will be racing in aid of Cancer Research, in memory of my mum and to honour my father who introduced me to sailing at a young age. They both inspire me every day. My father used to say "if it doesn't scare you don't bother, but if it scares the shit out of you then do it". I've taken a leaf out of his book and doing exactly that.
