I’m raising as much as I can to beat ovarian cancer

In memory of

My wonderful mum who I miss every day...

My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! My family has been affected by cancer, my grandad, my wonderful mum, my brother-in-law and my friends. It has been 18 months since we lost my mum to ovarian cancer, it remained undetected until it was too late to do anything. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her, hearing her voice, her laugh, telling me off and giving me advice about my children. Life is so precious and I know she would probably tell me I am mad for taking part in a half marathon with my back condition, but it seems a small effort for such a worthy cause. I can't change the past but I can help change the future. If I can help raise funds for such a worthy cause then I will do all I can to help research for future generations. and hopefully find a day where we don't have to watch our loved ones suffer. Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
