My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. 💗 Why I’m Taking Part in Race for Life I’m running this Race for Life for so many reasons — for the people I love, and for the ones we’ve lost or watched fight with everything they had. I’m running for my Nan, for Mary, for Ruth, and for Tilly — Mum and Dad’s beautiful fox‑red lab. Cancer doesn’t care who you are. It touches families, friendships, whole communities. It steals moments, memories, and the people we love most. It affects everyone in so many ways — and that’s exactly why I’m showing up. This run is also part of my own journey. A reminder of how far I’ve come, how much strength I’ve built, and how grateful I am to still be moving forward. Every step I take is for someone who can’t, and for everyone still fighting.
