A group of colleagues from the Open University Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page
A group of colleagues from the Open University are walking 10,000 steps every day this March for Cancer Research UK.
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. The team consists of Derek Mathieson, Jody Houghton, Florencia Di Marco, Natalie Billington, Steve Porter, Lindsey Snodin, Alex Siddons, Sallyanne Slater and Zoe Fenn. Many of us have either lost friends or family to cancer, know someone who is fighting the disease or have survived it ourselves, and we'd like to help beat cancer sooner by raising money to support the work of CRUK. We've all been working from home for a while now, so we're trying to do something that will not only benefit our health but that of others too. If we can get out of our home office and lose a few lbs and make a few pounds for CRUK at the same time then so much the better. Although we can't be in the office together we'll be staying in touch and motivating each other with a virtual leader board to make sure we hit those weekly targets. Wish us luck!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
