My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. My dad was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in October of last year so this is a cause that is very close to my heart. My family, like too many others, now know first hand how challenging living with this illness can be and as a result I feel passionate about supporting research in the fight against it. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
