My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. As some of you will know cancer has directly affected my family too many times. I've lost relatives including my dad when I was 16, and more recently my 'would be' step dad and 2 aunties. My mam and my mother in law are both survivors! I'm doing this challenge to raise money, to help in some small way, so that one day a cure will be found. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
