Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. As some of you will know cancer has directly affected my family too many times. I've lost relatives including my dad when I was 16, and more recently my 'would be' step dad and 2 aunties. My mam and my mother in law are both survivors! I'm doing this challenge to raise money, to help in some small way, so that one day a cure will be found. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
