My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page. This November, I will be going vegetarian for Cancer Research UK. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. As we know my mam past away Christmas Day 2017, she had Lymphoma cancer, we where told she was in remmition one day and a few days later that she was terminal, and she rapidly went downhill, it was the most heartbreaking thing to watch, to see someone you love so much suffer, I know people who have survived cancer and although I am not bitter I wish there had been more research out there to find a cure for this deadly disease. I was a vegetarian for a while when I was younger and my mam and dad hated it 😂 so what better way to raise money for y beautiful mother bringing back memories of the hilarity of me been a vegetarian and the complaining of having to cook me a seperate meal and the price of Linda McCartney sausages 😂.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
