My Story
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. In 2015 my family received the news that my father was one of those people. The following months were filled with tests, treatment plans and most of all...uncertainty and fear. Cancer really is the scariest word. Before my father's diagnoses, I can admit that I'd never really thought about fundraising. Like alot of people I just thought "I'm one person.....What can I do?" When my fathers operation was deemed a success and no further treatment was needed, the relief was overwhelming. He's survived and has been clear for around 2 years now. Many people don't get happy endings and since my father's diagnoses, I can now see that EVERYONE can do something. Even the smallest actions can help raise money to fund life changing and live saving research to find a cure once and for all. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now and let's go kick cancers butt!!!!
