I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

Hannah, Paul and I are doing the race for life for my dad. 11 years ago he was told he had high grade soft tissue sarcoma, this type of cancer is rare. He had major surgery to remove the tumour, he was cancer free for 9 years, very rare for this type of cancer. Then in July 2017 it came back. He then had major surgery again to remove the tumour in October 2017. He hasn't been so lucky this time, the cancer has decided to come back with a vengeance after only 1 year. This time around it's not looking good for him as it has come back so quickly, this cancer is aggressive chemotherapy and radiotherapy does not touch this type of cancer.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
