Early detection is key... Check yourselves... I didn't think it would happen to me but it did!

My Story

Most people know my story now but for those that don't ... Here it is...I was 34 and found a lump in my left breast which resulted in a stage 3 cancer diagnosis.Stage 3 being the most aggressive and with the ability to travel around the body, it had already got to my lymph nodes before surgery...It was scary times resulting in a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy... And an extensive new drugs trial funded by Cancer Research. I'm 6 years on now and one of the very lucky ones but I will never forget my fight with cancer and those that have lost their battle along the way... The ones that are just starting their journey or that have survived like me...This is my time to give something back... Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
