My Mum won her battle. Mike & Elishar who are kicking cancers butt! My Grandad lost his battle xxx
In memory of
Grandad
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. Cancer just seems to be everywhere and it's rare you find someone who isn't being affected by cancer. In 1999 I lost my grandad to cancer, unfortunately for him it was too late. On 2011 my world was shattered when my Mum was diagnosed with womb cancer, if it wasn't for some amazing friends and family I wouldn't have got through it. My Mum received radiotherapy treatment after which has done damage to her spine but like my mum says it's a small price to pay for your life. In 2016 my world was yet again shattered when I found out one of my best friends, (who is probably more of a brother and agony aunt) was diagnosed with leukaemia. I'm sure he won't mind me saying he has had a stem cell transplant and at the moment is doing really well despite sickness. In 2017 another long time friend of mine Elishar was diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia and is awaiting a stem cell transplant. No one should have to be battling cancer especially people who are just starting their lives with children. After witnessing just how much care people with cancer need the least I can do is run 5k to show my support to all of these wonderful people, in the hope that one day we will find a cure. Thank you xx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
