Pretty muddy Race for life for my Nan and Gramps.
In memory of
Jim and June Gregory
My Story
In 2014 my Nan was diagnosed with liver cancer, and after various treatments it was deemed that there was nothing more they could do in July 2016. On the same day, my Gramps was diagnosed with lung cancer. This was a hard time for our whole family. I helped by taking my Gramps to his chemotherapy treatments. In December 2016, my Nan sadly passed away in her own bed, after deteriorating in her final two weeks with us. Exactly a week later my Gramps also left us. Even though he had cancer, we know he died of a broken heart. I am doing Race for Life for them, to give something back in their memory and to thank those who cared for them during their illnesses. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
