I first joined Race for Life 11 years ago - I had to walk that one as I had twisted my knee 2 days prior 🙈 This one I will be running, without a break (that's the plan anyway). Anybody that knows me knows that sofa, wine and crisps are always my preference over running especially since knee has been giving me gyp for the last 26 years 🤦🏼♀️ But many of my friends are cancer survivors, some are battling it right now, some have sadly lost the fight. To show how grateful I am for the research that led to the survival of most of them and to keep CRUK going, I will be running another 5k alongside some amazing friends in Corby. Please chip in if you can before it's our turn 🙈

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
