Thank you for visiting my Fundraise page. There is no single year when I do not know anyone in my circle of friends, friends of friends, and family members being diagnosed with a cancer. Some of them, unfortunately, passed away and couldn’t win a battle. Others are fearlessly fighting and undergo through various types of treatments. These wonderful people and their families inspire me every day. Their positive attitudes, strength of character and fighting spirit are overwhelming. It makes me incredibly sad to see them being hurt by this horrible disease. But there is always hope. This is why I have chosen to do something to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK is the world's largest independent cancer research charity conducting research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. It is almost entirely funded by public donations. I will be walking night marathon in London in September and I am hoping to raise £422, i.e. £10 for every kilometer I do. It can be late for some of the people and I will walk to remember each of them with my heart.But it’s never too late for millions of others whom I’d like to support – who are not afraid of responsibility, who are striving for beating cancer every day of their lives. It would be fantastic if you have a couple of pounds / dollars / euros / anything lying around, and you're wondering how to make it count. Even the tiniest amount makes a difference.
