Cancer SUCKS! And it is affecting more and more innocent lives every single day, either directly or through family and friends. I've been affected by cancer, and I know how vile and horrible this illness is. I've seen people die from it, but I have also seen them kick its ass! Knowing this is possible is what has given me the kick up my ass to get in shape, (as many of you know I am very lazy) and run the 5k pretty muddy, to raise money and awareness for cancer research uk, and help beat cancer, sooner. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
