My Story
I started running in December 2016 at age 42. I could only run/ walk 3km at a push! I've been working hard this year, managing at least 3 runs a week and my first 10km! The first time I managed to run a full 5km it took me 38 mins! Now I can do it in about 32 mins. My aim is to complete the race for life 2017 in 30 mins to raise money for those who have suffered, and those who are suffering with cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
