This charity is very close to my heart it has helped many of my family and friends. It is really difficult to hear that someone has cancer but with the help and development of treatment you are always hopeful that a cure can be found. The main reason that I have decided to take on this challenge is in memory of my beautiful brother-in-law Simon, he had a short battle with the horrible disease leaving a massive void for family and friends. This challenge is taking place in London a place where he lived and worked from time to time but more importantly on the two year anniversary of his passing I want to make him proud and show him that he is always in our thoughts and in our hearts. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.
