I'm taking part in Race for Life to celebrate my mum beating cancer and to raise money to beat it sooner
5 years ago I received a call that changed my family’s life. I had just moved to England and newly married when mum phoned to say she had had an abnormal mammogram result. The rest is history thanks to many wonderful people. She is now 5 years on and doing great. We want to help others beat cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
