I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Something that I have not previously done and I always have wanted to do it.

I am a children's nurse and I am a part of the multidisciplinary team dealing with oncology patients. Although there are loads of improvement regarding the treatment, it is still require more research to eliminate cancer if not the cure.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me .

My first ever 5k run is happening tomorrow. I am excited and nervous as this is my first time. I have been training and preparing for the last 8 weeks. Working 5 days a week ( sometimes 6 days) plus running was tight but I managed to train despite hectic schedule.
