My Story
For the most gentle, caring, soft-spoken and loving person I know. The best mother-in-law I could hope for. I have never seen her speak a harsh word to anyone. Always, selflessly looking after others and not thinking about herself. Always sweetly smiling and always so immaculately dressed. Last year in April my friend and batch-mate Armaan lost his battle to glioblastoma. Then in October we found out that Amma had rapidly progressing retro-peritoneal liposarcoma. From there on It all happened so quickly and it is still hard to believe she is not here with us. She would have been 76 today. Missing her more than ever. Always in our thoughts! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
