My Story
When someone you love has cancer, the whole family and everyone who loves them does, too. Cancer research is a charity which is very dear to my heart, thanks to its research its saved so many lives. I'm the proud daughter of parents who have both been diagnosed with cancer and didn’t let cancer get the best of them! My mum's battle started over 16 years ago and my dad's battle started 3 years ago. That's why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today We won’t let 2020 stop us.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
