I'm walking at Shine Night Walk to help beat cancer

This cause is personal to me because of my daughter's Leukaemia diagnosis 7 year's ago. I'm happy to say she's been one of the success stories but research meant that her treatment was far less damaging than previous protocols and she's had the all clear for five years.

Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.

Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Cause

Leukaemia

Five-year survival rates for leukaemia have more than tripled in the last 40 years. But despite this progress, around 4,600 people still lose their lives to the disease every year. Almost a third of all cancers diagnosed in children are leukaemia. Your donation can help Cancer Research UK find better treatments and new ways to prevent the disease in adults and children.
