My Story
Thank you for visiting the Murfest 2025 Fundraising Page. The money we raise will help fund life-saving research and bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Murfest was first held in 2019 by Danny Murphy to celebrate a big birthday. This was so successful, raising over £4500, that it became a regular event and has been held every year since (except for 2020!) Now it’s back to celebrate its 6th Anniversary!! Murfest 2025 is again being held at The Plough Pub in Lower Beeding on Saturday 6th September and will feature 16 bands, food stalls, bouncy castle, raffle and bar with Free Admission. All we ask for is a generous donation to this worthy cause. Donations can be made via this page or into one of the collection buckets on the day. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
