Gina Peach
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and understand more about my story and why CancerResearchUK is a cause so close to my heart. 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime and its charities like CancerResearchUK that are able to make the difference and save lives. In 2019, just weeks after my older brothers Jake's wedding, my Mum Gina suffered a suspected TIA (mini stroke), which later turned out to be stage 4 cancer. It was devastating to watch how quickly my beautiful, vibrant Mother lost her grip on life and within seven weeks passed away. We are all left with a huge void in our lives. The gift of life is precious and after being diagnosed with Cancer every minute counts. Through raising money we hope to help CancerReseach extend the life of loved ones and increase survival rates. Along with my brother Jake and Rachel, we have received confirmed placement for the London Marathon 2021, through Cancer Research UK. My run is dedicated to all those who have been impacted by Cancer and together we will beat this. Thank you, Morgan.
