I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy in memory of our wonderful Teaching Assistant, Mrs Walker, and to raise money to beat cancer sooner so that others don't lose loved ones to this disease.
In memory of
Mrs Cathy Walker (and my Grandma too)
Mrs Walker really helped me when she was my Teaching Assistant, she was kind and caring and I was very sad when I heard that she had died. My Grandma, Mum's Mum, died from cancer when my Mum was 27, so I never got to meet her. Mum talks about Grandma all the time and I really wish that she was here with us, she sounds like a great Grandma to have! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
