My Story
Hello, My family, friends and myself have decided to take part in Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k 2019. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. In November 2018 my grandfather was diagnosed with stomach cancer. I was in denial that my strong, amazing grandfather could have cancer. In April 2019 my grandfather had an operation to remove his stomach. When he was in theater the doctors discovered that the cancer has spread and they had to remove his stomach, half of his spleen, lymph glands and some ot his liver. He is currently taking chemotherapy. There are good days and bad days but I truly believe that he will be okay. I would like to ask you to help us to raise money for cancer research.
