My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k, on 12th June 2022 in Salisbury, to raise money and save lives. In 2016, within months of each other, Haydn and I were both diagnosed with Cancer. Although we had very different recovery journeys, both experiencing some 'bumps' along the way, again, within months of each other we received the news we were both hoping for, that after 5 years our Cancers were deemed as cured. Having reached this milestone together, we realised just how fortunate we are and so decided to entered this year's 2022 Race for Life, as a team, in the hope of raising as much as we can for the truly life-saving research work done by Cancer Research UK, a cause very close to our hearts. We will be dedicating our efforts to the family and friends we have both lost to Cancer.
