On 28th July 2019, I will be running the Race for Life to raise money for Cancer research in honour of my amazing best friend and mum who has recently battled cancer to beat it and come out the other side. This disease is painful and heartbreaking for not only those who are diagnosed, but also those close to the individual, therefore it is imperative that money is continuously raised to eventually find the cure and BEAT CANCER. Horrifying statistics show that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime so PLEASE donate to such an important cause. xx

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
