My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I recently got back into reading regularly this year. I have currently read 42 books this year and plan on reading many more. I’ve decided I’m going to be taking on reading every day in November to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. We unfortunately lost my mum’s best friend in May 2025 to an aggressive form of Cancer. My Grandma also passed in January 2010 due to Pancreatic Cancer. So this is for both of them and anyone else who’s going through the battle of Cancer or have sadly lost their lives due to this terrible disease. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
